More than 30 years ago, the Japanese anime Future GPX Cyber Formula imagined a future of motorsport far ahead of its time. The racing machines were equipped with AI-assisted driving systems, helping drivers compete at extreme speeds. The cars could even transform their aerodynamic configuration according to different racing conditions, adapting for cornering, acceleration, and maximum-speed runs. Another iconic feature was the Boost System. It could only unleash extreme acceleration for a few seconds, but when activated at exactly the right moment, those few seconds could decide the entire race. My film attempts to bring these legendary 2D anime concepts into a realistic cinematic world using modern AI filmmaking. From the transforming racing machines and extreme-speed battles to the legendary final technique: LIFTING TURN. A technique that once existed only in animation. Now, I wanted to see if it could finally be brought to life.
