A village of dark stone stacked on a hill of white marble, with green plantations at its foot. They climb up expecting the fourteenth welcome of the trip. Every door is standing open. Every doorway is black. Abdullah calls out the way he's called out to strangers in thirteen episodes, and for the first time, nothing answers — the music stops with him and doesn't come back for nine seconds.
