Mara surrenders to partial Bloodfang guards to protect Toma, then crosses the Bloodfang Den threshold between clawed escorts. Rovan dismisses them and studies her as evidence. When Mara resists the blade test, Dain deliberately enters heavy partial form, pins her arm, and lets Vesha name each tremor as lineage proof. Mara's body heats but remains human. Witnesses see Dain suppress after applying controlled force, proving Bloodfang calls mastery lawful even when used as violence. The Blood-marking Blade turns curiosity into ownership procedure. Mara refuses every clan answer before ritual language can harden around her as consent before all gathered witnesses.
