EP6 - The Gate Closes

At Viremoor’s Grand Gate, wardens inspect Lyra’s sealed transfer order and allow her inside. The Grand Hall reveals a world of winged, scaled, ember-bodied, feline, and shadowed students moving through registration beneath the academy’s watch. A clerk makes Lyra state her name publicly, drawing attention to her crystal wings. Academy custody is confirmed, and her parents are forced to leave. Lyra refuses to call after them when the gate closes behind her. Instead, she turns toward registration alone, while Celeste, Kael, and Reth notice that the new girl now stands inside Viremoor without family protection.
