ARC OF CREATION - "THE SEVERANCE" EP 1-12

Arc of Creation EP 1-12: The Severance begins in the ancient past, when six Eternal beings are sent across the stars to observe distant worlds under one absolute rule: do not touch, speak to, or interfere with any life they find. Elyra is sent to Earth, where she encounters the first mortal and eventually breaks that rule, setting off consequences that force Aurel to cross the stars to warn her. When the Sovereign intervenes, Aurel is forced to sever Elyra’s wings, and the Current is torn from her and driven deep into the Earth. Ages later, the story shifts to the present day at the Shantoshi Deep-Earth Mining Company, where Adamah, Asherah, and Ovelle oversee operations while Victor, Altay, and a small mining crew, with 3D scanning specialist Copper, work below. Altay inexplicably senses that they should drill into an unexplored section of rock, and Copper’s scan confirms something is hidden beyond the wall. The crew breaks through and uncovers a strange crystalline structure buried beneath the Earth. When Altay touches it, his unknown connection to the Current awakens the structure and floods him with visions of what happened there long ago. A violent shockwave tears through the mine and reaches the administration office above. Adamah radios the crew, learns that Altay touched the crystal, and immediately orders them not to touch anything else. As she prepares to head underground, Altay turns back toward the newly awakened Current... and this is where it all begins.
