EP16 - The Shield 🪽🛡️🔴🐺⚡

The Training Beast reaches Bram before his trapped wing can be freed. Lyra uses the scoring frame for cover while students clear the gate and Soren spends his last heat pulse on the hook. Bram finally stands, but the creature turns toward the escape route. Reth moves Bram to shallow cover and stays when Lyra asks him to. Then Lyra channels the crimson fracture light from her damaged wings into the painted courtyard ward, raising a trembling shield. Students pull Bram through the protected opening while Maren takes control of the beast. Lyra releases the barrier exhausted, leaving behind one glowing fragment.
