He never told her how he felt, he just kept the camera rolling instead, calling it memories when really it was just an excuse to keep looking at her without her noticing. She never caught on, not once, all trip long. Somewhere along the way he said something quiet, almost to himself and she actually heard it this time, asked him to repeat it but he never did.
