IN THE UNKNOWN / У НЕВІДОМОСТІ Two unborn twins live inside the warmth and safety of their mother’s womb. They know only darkness, water, heartbeat, and the presence of one another. When birth approaches, their familiar world begins to change, and beyond it waits the unknown - a world of light, air, and transformation. At the same time, a woman confronts her own reflection in a mirror. What she sees is not another being, but the hidden parts of herself: fear, pain, loss, forgotten dreams, and possibilities buried beneath the shadows of the mind. Her journey mirrors the twins’ experience. Just as they fear leaving the womb, humanity fears leaving behind what is familiar. The loss of a job, the arrival of new technology, and the fear of being replaced may initially appear to be the end. But through creativity, self-reflection, and acceptance, the woman discovers a new path - not a rejection of her purpose, but a freer and more personal way to live it. Created in response to YAOYO’s central idea of AI and love, the film presents AI as an unknown force that can also become a mirror of human consciousness. It does not simply replace the human being. It reveals what has long been hidden within the soul and opens the possibility of a second birth. In the Unknown is a poetic film about the fear of change, acceptance, creativity, and love - and about the possibility that the unknown is not death, but life itself.
