EP7 - Four Measures 🪽🔍🏰⚠️✨

At registration, Lyra faces Viremoor’s Ranking Instrument, a system built to measure creature type, control, combat usefulness, and magical stability. She asks what happens if none of the categories recognize her, but the clerk refuses to explain failure. Under pressure from Kael and the watching students, Lyra places her hand on the contact plate. One by one, every recognized category rejects her. Then the stability channel turns crimson. Light races through the fractures in her crystal wings, the instrument seals her palm in place, and an unexplained red signal appears beneath four blank fields. Lyra has entered Viremoor unranked.
