Episode 2 goes a little deeper into her life before the real journey begins. After being cursed, she lost the ability to walk beneath the sun. Night became her world. She crosses empty villages under the moon, looking for shelter before dawn and spending her days hidden away from the light. In this chapter, we follow one of those nights. She reaches an abandoned temple, meditates, trains with her sword, repeats the movements her body still remembers, and prays to Buddha for the one thing she has never stopped wanting: to recover what was taken from her. There is still a lot she hasn’t told us. And when she finally leaves the temple, the road ahead is no longer empty. The first Oni will have to wait for the next chapter. 続く Tsuzuku (To be continued.)
