This song is a reflection of Indonesia’s current state. Regardless of who we are, our social status, or our position in society — from the highest levels to the lowest, we are all part of the same problem. We all bear a share of the responsibility.
This clip is much broader than just the local situation in Indonesia. This is a true problem of the entire Earth, where a selfish ego can never satisfy its appetites. They are so blind by their own greed that they lose their human form and don't even notice what they have become. Just like the clip shows: hordes of "rats" devouring everything around them, even though the tables are breaking with food, yet their hunger can never be satisfied. Such greed and blind power are the root cause of all wars on our planet. Today, exactly the same situation is happening in Ukraine, and as Bob Marley said: "You never find justice on a world where law is made by the criminals." However, as wisely stated in the Bhagavad-gita (16.9): "Demonic people engage in activities that bring destruction to the world." Their downfall and ultimate destruction for these deeds are absolutely inevitable.
I actually agree that all of these situations are happening right now, and it’s difficult to change things no matter where you are in the world. It’s not always the people at the top who are at fault; sometimes, those at the bottom can be at fault too. So, this is a shared responsibility. We can’t just demand that those at the top take action if those at the bottom aren’t willing to do anything either. What’s the point of that?
