Selene begins human, speaks the oath, and enters pale partial form with ceremonial guardians, making truth protection a bodily duty rather than rage. Mara's blood heats without changing her shape. Liora's dropped cord reveals fear before Moon-stags answer at the stones. Selene holds the transformed ring still while Dain claims the omen. She limits the result, rejects ownership, then suppresses only when formally closing the rite. Proof ends denial, but protection still does not begin for Mara today.
