I was invited by AI Art Portugal to participate in the NAZA Campaign. This work was created in accordance with the production rules and mandatory requirements outlined in the NAZA Campaign Brief, “Surreal Portugal — International Launch Campaign.” In this brief, the objective was not simply to create free-form artistic expression, but to clearly communicate the NAZA brand while integrating Portuguese culture, streetwear, surf/skate culture, and surreal visual expression into a piece that functions as an advertisement. Therefore, this work was designed based on the following core requirements: ・Ensuring clear recognition of the NAZA brand name ・Incorporating elements of Portuguese culture, either directly or abstractly ・Functioning as an advertisement rather than pure art ・Maintaining a balance between commercial clarity and surreal expression ・Structuring the piece to work as a 30-second social media advertisement ・Optimizing visibility for both 9:16 and square formats The direction of this work was constructed based on these rules. In particular, the key focus was achieving both: “allowing the audience to clearly understand NAZA” and “creating an unexpected visual experience that remains memorable.” To achieve this, while maintaining the structure of a brand advertisement, the visual expression intentionally distorts reality, reconstructing Portugal’s sea, waves, urban spaces, and street culture into a surreal world. This approach aligns with the concept stated in the brief: “Push boundaries — but keep intention.” Expanding creative limits without losing purpose. This work is not simply a free visual creation, but an exploration of how far impactful expression can be achieved within defined constraints, brand intent, and advertising objectives. ※This work was created using the provided logo.
