Eiren Morvant - the main character.

Eiren Morvant is the heir to House Morvant, one of the strongest and most "correct" students at the Academy of the Last Dawn. He is 18 years old, but he appears older on the inside: too collected, too well-mannered, too accustomed to showing no fear, desire, or pain. To those around him, he is the ideal heir. Cold, disciplined, noble, dangerously calm. He speaks little, moves precisely, wastes no unnecessary emotion, and seems like a man who always knows his next move. But his tragedy is that his entire life has been preparation for a destiny no one has fully explained to him. Eiren was raised to win. But at the Academy, victory is not freedom.
